Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Charleston Southern University. She is trained in Theraplay and EMDR and is currently pursuing her Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT) credential.

With a heart for adoption-competent, connection-centered care, Katie works with children, teens, and caregivers to strengthen attachment, heal from trauma, and break intergenerational cycles. Her approach weaves together attachment theory, developmental psychology, narrative therapy, and Christian integration—always relying on insight from the Holy Spirit to promote breakthrough and facilitate growth.

Katie serves as treasurer for the South Carolina Association for Play Therapy (SCAPT) and is a preferred provider for Lifeline Children’s Services. She’s married to her best friend, Kyler, and is the proud mom of two energetic, adventurous girls who keep life joyful and loud.
