Jim Rhoton

M.S., LPCA

Jim is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. He holds a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Charleston Southern University and is trained in EMDR. After serving on staff at CSU in a variety of roles since 1999, Jim sensed the Lord’s leading in 2019 to pursue a calling as a Professional Christian Counselor.

Jim is passionate about helping adult men and women experience hope, healing, and meaningful change through the integration of Christ-centered care, evidence-based counseling practices, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

He has a particular passion for working with men navigating crisis, life transitions, and relationship challenges. His primary treatment areas include anxiety and stress, depression, grief and loss, men’s issues, relationship and family concerns, career and life transitions, and premarital counseling. Jim considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they pursue greater emotional, relational, and spiritual wholeness.
