Jim Rhoton
Graduate Student Intern
Jim serves as a Graduate Student Intern as part of Charleston Southern University’s Master of Science in Clinical Counseling program, where he is preparing to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Since 1999, Jim has been on staff at CSU in a variety of roles and responsibilities. In 2021, he sensed the Lord’s leading him to pursue becoming a Professional Christian Counselor.
Jim is passionate about helping men and women experience hope and healing through the integration of Christ-centered, clinically-sound care, and the work of the Holy Spirit. He looks forward to walking alongside individuals as they pursue emotional, relational, and spiritual wholeness—for themselves and those they love.
His primary treatment areas are anxiety and stress management, depression, grief and loss, premarital counseling, relationship issues, career, family, and life transitions, and men’s issues.
