At Riverbluff, we believe Spiritual Growth<\/strong> occurs as Disciples seek\u00a0<\/em>to be devoted to Jesus and to make each day a chance to be with Jesus,<\/em> as we learn from Jesus<\/em> how to live the Up, In & Out<\/strong>\u00a0life of Jesus<\/em>.\u00a0 Throughout scripture, Jesus invites His followers into a more devoted relationship with Him.\u00a0 He doesn’t demand that we grow, instead, He tells us what is necessary if<\/em> we desire<\/em> to grow:<\/h5>\n
Luke 14:26 [Jesus] said to them, “if<\/em>\u00a0anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple<\/em>.\u201d<\/h5>\n
Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, \u201cIf<\/em> any of you wants to be my follower<\/em>, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.\u201d<\/h5>\n
John 8:31-32 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If<\/em>\u00a0you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples<\/em>, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.\u201c<\/h5>\n
We have developed The Growth Plan<\/strong> as a way for us to be intentional<\/em> about becoming more devoted<\/em> to Jesus. If you’d like to be intentional about becoming more devoted to Jesus in this season, The Growth Plan is for you!<\/h5>\n

Welcome to The Growth Plan! No matter where you are in the Spiritual Growth Process, there is a path you can take to grow in your knowledge, depth, understanding and commitment to your relationship with Jesus!\u00a0 The Growth Plan is a tool that we use at Riverbluff Church that will help you take the next steps in your Spiritual Growth.<\/h5>\n
If you’ve been EXPLORING<\/abbr> who Jesus is and what it means to be a follower of Jesus, The Growth Plan can help you to move to DISCOVERING<\/abbr> your Journey with Christ.<\/h5>\n
If you’ve made a commitment to Christ as Lord and Savior and are DISCOVERING<\/abbr> your journey as a follower of Jesus, The Growth Plan can help you to move to GROWING<\/abbr> in your relationship with Christ.<\/h5>\n
If you’re already GROWING<\/abbr> in your relationship with Christ, The Growth Plan can help you to become someone who is DEVOTING<\/abbr> their life to Christ.<\/h5>\n
Paul speaks of the Spiritual Growth Process in Colossians 2:6-7 (AMP):<\/h5>\n
6<\/sup><\/span> “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord,
\nwalk in [union with] Him
\n[reflecting His character in the things you do and say\u2014
\nliving lives that lead others away from sin],
\n7<\/sup><\/span> having been deeply rooted [in Him]
\nand now being continually built up in Him and
\n[becoming increasingly more] established in your faith,
\njust as you were taught,
\nand overflowing in it with gratitude.”<\/h5>\n
Our hope and desire is that The Growth Plan will provide a pathway for your roots to grow more deeply in Jesus and for you to become increasingly more established in your faith.<\/h5>\n
