world vision

You don’t have to be a bystander to the events that impact our communities and the world. You can be a leader in helping children and families overcome adversities and realize their God-given potential. World Vision can be your bridge to the world’s poor. As you change the lives of those in poverty, you will be transformed as well.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. We serve close to 100 million people in nearly 100 countries around the world.  World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. Motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, we serve alongside the poor and oppressed as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.  Wherever we work, our prayer is that our efforts will be used by God to heal and strengthen people’s relationships with Him and with one another. We do this by demonstrating God’s unconditional love for all people through our service to the poor — which includes providing for daily needs, working to build peace and promote justice, and partnering with churches and individuals to encourage spiritual transformation.

We Help You Loan to Low Income Entrepreneurs

Kiva is a micro-lending website that connects people who want to empower individuals around the world to break the cycle of poverty by providing a low income loan that is repaid within 6-12 months. Kiva’s mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty. Kiva is the world’s first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend to unique entrepreneurs around the globe. The people you see on Kiva’s site are real individuals. When you browse entrepreneurs’ profiles on Kiva, choose someone to lend to and then make a loan, you are helping a real person make great strides towards economic independence and improve life for themselves, their family, and their community. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates and track repayments. Then, when you get your loan money back, you can relend to someone else.

building love

Building Love

Across the world it is estimated that over 100 million people are homeless.  Building Love started with the idea to build homes for those in need. Each build will have a goal that we feel can be reached to build, renovate or repair homes for families. We know we can make a difference in the lives of so many, and are passionate about reaching across the globe to help. Building Love is a non-profit organization that raises money to build and repair homes. Building Love’s initial focus will be in Nicaragua and the Southeastern United States. Our hope is that it will grow as we connect with others in other countries with a heart to build, renovate, or repair homes for those in need. | Jason Bradford or Matt Tyler |
