DESCRIPTION:Operation Christmas Child 2024\nOperation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse\, an international relief organization. OCC provides children around the world with shoe boxes filled with small toys\, hygiene items\, and school supplies as a means of reaching them in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These boxes are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war\, poverty\, natural disaster\, famine\, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. \nWe’re encouraging all of our River-family to fill a shoe box! If you aren’t able to fill one by yourself\, join with your small group\, friends\, or neighbors! For your convenience\, there is an option to Build a Shoebox Online! Or make a financial contribution to cover shipping costs ($10.00 per box)\, as well as expenses for the processing center and the Gospel literature for box recipients.
