SUMMARY:Operation Christmas Child Filled Shoeboxes Due
DESCRIPTION:Operation Christmas Child 2024\nOperation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse\, an international relief organization. OCC provides children around the world with shoe boxes filled with small toys\, hygiene items\, and school supplies as a means of reaching them in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These boxes are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war\, poverty\, natural disaster\, famine\, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. \nWe’re encouraging all of our River-family to fill a shoe box! If you aren’t able to fill one by yourself\, join with your small group\, friends\, or neighbors! For your convenience\, there is an option to Build a Shoebox Online! Or make a financial contribution to cover shipping costs ($10.00 per box)\, as well as expenses for the processing center and the Gospel literature for box recipients. Checks should be made out to Riverbluff Church or give online  (choose the tile for  Operation Christmas Child). \nBring your completed shoeboxes to Riverbluff through November 24\, 2024.\nFor instructions and ideas on packing your shoe box\, visit www.samaritanspurse.org/occ. \nFor more information\, contact Kevin or Judy Kugler at kuglerkj23@yahoo.com or on Realm.
